G-RIC was born on March 20th 1984 in Pasadena California. Growing up in Pasadena and all around the SGV, gang banging and dope slanging to school graduating. At the age of 15 he already had numerous misdemeanors, a Felony and 1st Strike, expelled from multiple schools for drug sales and gang violence, but after a ton of counseling at the age of 18 he knew it was time for a change. Music was like the father figure he never had which he always turned to when dealing with his broken home situations. Now returning the favor back to music by telling his own stories and passing them down to the next generation. He thrives on being an example to the youngsters, showing how gangsters are some of the smartest people around when they apply them selves differently while not losing who they are. Still G'd up, bald, tatted and lowriding is exactly how you can find him working in a community college, giving back to the community guiding 1st generation college goers in a way they can understand. Once in a while he still gets kicked out of clubs or events for fist fighting with individuals he feels has disrespected him. He was almost murdered in the summer of 2010 after performing in a back yard party but unexpectedly survived after waking up out of a two day coma, he made a 90% recovery suffering only a bit of memory loss. He now does not take any day for granted and counts everyday as a blessing. After joining On Lock Ent in 2010 he will be releasing his first Street Album "Keep It G" in the summer of 2012.
