Kimberly Dawn Singer/Songwriter Kimberly Dawn's love for music dates back to her early childhood when she started learning piano at the tender age of 7. She grew up singing in her church choir as well in her community in Alberta, Canada. She moved to Los Angeles at 18, where she continued perfecting her music by taking vocal coaching with Ron Anderson. Kimberly co-wrote every song on her latest album called “What It Is In Me,” which debuted in 2009. She worked closely with Multi-Platinum producer Ron Harris on this album. Harris has worked with names such as Christina Aguilera and Adina Howard and was an A&R Manager for Epic Records. Vega also penned many of Ashlee's songs on her debut album. Vega has also written for Fergie and Drew Scott (Varsity) and has worked closely with Universal Music (Michaelangelo Snyder), Interscope, and Nickelodeon. At the end of 2010, Kimberly was in the studio to co-write a song with "Jimmy Jam" who runs "Flyte Tyme" studios with his partner Terry Lewis. Jimmy not only helped to co-write the song " Save The Girl" but he also produced it.Kimberly has also written and worked vocally with Grammy Award Winning Artist, Mauli B, who was a co-writer on Gladys Knight’s Gospel Album, One Voice. Music is Kimberly’s window to the world. She likens it to painting a picture with vivid colors that come alive with each lyric and note as it arranges itself on paper. It has dimensions that express her life through songs that comprise her repertoire.
