John Higgins-Keyboardist. John has been performing since the early 70’s with Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Country groups throughout the Southern California area. The primary songwriter in the band, his passion for music shines and is very prominent in his keyboard performances. Phil Johnson-Guitarist. Since 1969, Phil has been performing professionally on guitar for multiple bands and projects, and continues today as an avid guitarist. Comfortable with playing Jazz, Rock, Fusion, and Classical music genres, and extremely effective on both Electric and Acoustic Guitars, he continues to hone his craft. Greg Elsasser-Bassist. Greg played with several bands in the 70’s, including Tim Rose with Andy Summers of the Police. Greg joined up with Phil and John in 1988 with the “Luxury Living Band” who was signed with ABC Dunhill records, and has morphed into today what is now “Oceans of Sand”. Greg Vail-Saxophonist and Flutist. Greg Vail is a world class saxophonist that has worked with an A list of players over the past 30+ years as a professional Musician. He has recorded and/or performed live with Elton, Chaka, Toto, Earth Wind and Fire, Weezer, Josh Groban, Jason Mraz, Natalie Cole, Michael McDonald, Smokey Robinson, David Pack of Ambrosia, Evelyn Champagne King, Brian Wilson and Al Stewart just to name a few. Greg has released six CD’s as a band leader, along with many other recordings with the biggest names in Christian/Gospel and Smooth Jazz over the past two decades. David Terry-Drumset and Percussionist.  A journeyman drummer, David relocated to California in 1988.  Known for his ability to play in a wide variety of styles, ranging from reggae, rock, country and jazz fusion, he believes in versatility, and continues to be an active and sought-after drummer in the Southern California music scene.
