Andrew Charles Koch was born 2nd of four boys, to a Jazz Muscian and a Banker's daughter on Offutt Airforce Base SAC Headquarters located in Sarpy, Nebraska. Andrew grew up watching his father perform and knew right away that he would refer to the Entertainment Industry as his path in life and now would be considered home in the heart. He put his first band together at the age of 15yrs. and is still playing today he is self taught on playing guitars. He first started performing in Jr. High School in plays and musicals.During his High School days at Boulder High in Colorado, he was involved in Theatre, Music, and Dance where he first learned Ballet taught by Larry Boyette and performed in many of the schools plays and Musicals. After graduating from Boulder High he went on to receive a full Scholarship for Dance. In addition to his performances he went on to learning other styles of dance, and was taught additional Ballet by Michael Simms, and continued on to Modern Dance taught by Miss Harriet Ann Gray, at the Stephens College located in Columbia, Mo. Mr. Koch soon found himself in New York City where he met the well known Director Mr. Kenny Ortega who taught him Contemporary Dance. He performed at Radio City Music Hall and on Broadway at the Minskoff Theatre, where he begun to travel United States on a national tour. He also begun to model with such Industries as the Rex Awards and had done some Overseas modeling. From there Mr. Koch went on to becoming the lead singer in three different bands known has the Wondering Scholars, The Undertow, and the Changlings, and eventually ended up in Hollywood Ca., Where he was paired up with the known famous Artist " Cher " for her world tour in 1980 in Las Vegas NV. At Caesars Palace.in addition to his opportunity with Cher, he was then offered roles in movies. He moved onto doing films with Patrick Swayze in such films as Dirty Dancing and Roadhouse. He also went on to be featured in some Disney Movies such as the Newsies and other great films as The Great Outdoors. From there he begun to find himself being featured in parts of Music Videos with such people as Cher, Meat Loaf and the Pointer Sisters, Moving on in his Life he found himself appearing on television in shows such as The Tonight Show as a Featured Dancer in Cher's "Those Shoes", the MTV Awards with Host Arsenio Hall, and Motown Review with Smokey Robinson, and American Music Awards, also in Dirty Dancing as Hank a character portrayed in the series which was a Steven Tisch Production to name a few. Mr. Koch now resides in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada where he is an employee of 9yrs for the State of Nevada, working with people who have special needs and who are mentally challenged, he found his job both interesting and rewarding . In his spare time he continues to follow and pursue his dream of becoming a Recording Artist with his true passion and love as a Singer/Songwriter.
