Noah Grove is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, sound engineer, and producer. He was born in California, raised in Tennessee, and earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology at UT Knoxville. His music was influenced by DC Talk, John Mayer, Muse, Nickel Creek, Chopin, and Norman Brown among many others, and his lifestyle has informed foundational elements of his sound that bear similarities to Jack Johnson. His introduction to music was as a snare drum player in middle school band, followed by several years of training in classical piano. Noah started writing and recording songs in high school, an integral hobby that persisted for many years. At age 27, Noah left his job at the TN Lottery and focused his life on music, living in a Honda CRV to do so. He is a veteran kitesurfer and licensed instructor, which led his music to be heard and influenced by many beachside towns. In August of 2014, he landed in Long Beach, CA to intensively hone his crafts. Over the course of two years, he worked with songwriter Nathan Douglas creating arrangements and records of around 200 of Nathan’s songs, and working with dozens of local artists in the process. This massive project was in addition to his own prolific songwriting and collaborations. The experience helped inform the production of his debut album “Big Picture” released in July of 2016. Later that year, Noah embarked on a cross country tour, performing in over 50 cities, including a roadside jam with three Federales in Mexico. In early 2017 Noah made the decision to return to his roots, organized a band in three months, and debuted his second album “Beautiful Frankenstein” in Franklin, TN in September of 2017. He has performed at venues in China, Morocco, England, Ireland, Argentina, and Mexico. Noah has a passion for creating music that heals, brings understanding, and leads others to more fulfilled life experience, and loves his job!
