David Holmes was born in 1984 in the western part of San Jose and to all northern California rap fans should be better known as Troublez. His name wasn't given to him coincidentally as since day one David has been trying to relieve all of the life burden off his chest with personal, thought provoking lyrics and sophisticated word plays. He pours all his heart and soul into his music, giving listeners nothing but the essence of mature rap. Troublez started his career with a solo EP release called "Street Life". Than it was time for a more dark project titled "Cemetary Wishes" with disturbing vibes and deep lyrics. His third solo album was named "Thug Poet" and was a book of David's life kind of project with laid back tracks, also for the ladies. Troublez was also responsible for two compilations: "The Network" and "Tha Allstarz" which featured a whole list of recognizable California homeboy figures like Mr. Kee, Lil Coner, Goldtoes, Big Oso Loc, C-Locs, Mr. 21, Scrilla Mac, Tekpot, Traficante and many more. He was also working with such people like an Oakland vet Bavgate and SFC rapper Equipto. Music by Troublez was also well acclaimed by the worldwide fan base. He has released an exclusive cd for the Japan rap scene with KJS Pick Out Projects. The name of Troublez has appeared on the countless websites building the quality of his talent and skills. He is working with many online distributors and supporters, including BayUndaground.com source of rap and online stores like CD Baby, RapBay or 408Inc. Be on the look out for a brand new solo release by Troublez called "I'm Loving Nothing" with features by such stars like MC Eiht, San Quinn, Davina, Lil Coner and production by Sean Ross. Keep your eyes and ears open for this San Jose artist.
