New Orleans West advocate, Teejay Foy was first introduces to a stage at the young age of 4. Talent shows and acting auditions prepared a young Foy to pursue music professionally at only 9.Growing up in the slums of Marrero, better known as "The Concrete Jungle", there wasn't a lot of positive influences to look up to, Mainly drugs and violence. Negativity is always easy to succumb to , especially if it's exposed in every direction you look towards; Foy learned to channel energy into creating music. He began speaking about the change he wanted to see in his life.Although Foy has been making music for over 13 years , he's only released 4 projects to date. These projects have all been followed by a great deal of live performances; These performances span from his home town of New Orleans, Louisiana as far east as New York , Chicago and St. Louis to name a few . Foy also played SXSW Music festival and A3C Music festivals , which are 2 of the biggest Hip-Hop Festivals thrown in the states. Foy is currently working on "A Letter to Jay-Z" which isa very important project giving thanks and respect to Foy's favorite artist.
